Advertising

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake the stuffed jalapeños in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  5. While the jalapeños are baking, prepare the blackberry glaze. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the blackberries, sugar, and balsamic vinegar.
  6. Simmer the mixture, stirring occasionally, until the blackberries break down and the glaze thickens, about 10 minutes.
  7. Remove the jalapeños from the oven and let them cool slightly. Drizzle the blackberry glaze over the top of each stuffed jalapeño.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving. Enjoy!

Chef’s Tips

  • Wear gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid any irritation from the peppers.
  • You can adjust the sweetness of the glaze by adding more or less sugar, depending on your taste.
  • For extra flavor, add crispy bacon bits to the cheese stuffing.
