Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the stuffed jalapeños in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- While the jalapeños are baking, prepare the blackberry glaze. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the blackberries, sugar, and balsamic vinegar.
- Simmer the mixture, stirring occasionally, until the blackberries break down and the glaze thickens, about 10 minutes.
- Remove the jalapeños from the oven and let them cool slightly. Drizzle the blackberry glaze over the top of each stuffed jalapeño.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving. Enjoy!
Chef’s Tips
- Wear gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid any irritation from the peppers.
- You can adjust the sweetness of the glaze by adding more or less sugar, depending on your taste.
- For extra flavor, add crispy bacon bits to the cheese stuffing.
