Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
- In a small pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. If using cornmeal, sprinkle it on a baking sheet or pizza peel.
- Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over the crust, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Drizzle the garlic-infused olive oil over the ricotta evenly.
- Scatter the chopped spinach over the top, followed by the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Sprinkle red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper over the top as desired.
- Transfer the pizza onto the preheated stone or baking sheet. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden-brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Chef’s Tips
- Use fresh spinach for better flavor and texture, but you can also use thawed frozen spinach if squeezed well.
- A pizza stone will yield a crispier crust, but a baking sheet will work in a pinch.
- Add more garlic or cheese according to your preference for a more pronounced flavor.
