Instructions
• Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
• In a bowl, whisk eggs and brown sugar until smooth.
• Add softened butter and mix well.
• Stir in gluten-free flour, cinnamon, ginger, baking soda, and baking powder.
• Add black treacle and milk, then mix until a smooth batter forms.
• Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
• Bake for 35–40 minutes until set and golden.
• Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by heating butter, sugar, treacle, and cream in a saucepan.
• Stir continuously until smooth and slightly thickened.
• Remove pudding from oven and let it cool slightly.
• Pour warm toffee sauce over the pudding.
• Serve warm with ice cream or custard if desired.
