Air Fryer Braised Fish

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a small pan, heat oil and sauté garlic, ginger, and half the green onions for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sugar, and water or stock. Simmer for 2 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Air Fry the Fish
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F).
  2. Lightly oil the fish pieces and place them in the air fryer basket or on parchment paper.
  3. Air fry for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for another 8–10 minutes until cooked through and golden.
Step 3: Braise and Serve
  1. Once cooked, transfer the fish to a heat-safe dish.
  2. Pour the warm sauce over the fish and sprinkle with remaining green onions.
  3. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
