Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Sauce
- In a small pan, heat oil and sauté garlic, ginger, and half the green onions for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sugar, and water or stock. Simmer for 2 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Air Fry the Fish
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F).
- Lightly oil the fish pieces and place them in the air fryer basket or on parchment paper.
- Air fry for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for another 8–10 minutes until cooked through and golden.
Step 3: Braise and Serve
- Once cooked, transfer the fish to a heat-safe dish.
- Pour the warm sauce over the fish and sprinkle with remaining green onions.
- Serve hot with rice or noodles.
