Step 1: Marinate the Chicken
  1. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and spices.
  2. Add chicken chunks and coat well.
  3. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for best flavor).
Step 2: Air Fry the Chicken
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly grease the basket and arrange the chicken in a single layer.
  3. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Masala Sauce
  1. In a pan, heat butter or ghee over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the onion until soft, then add ginger-garlic paste.
  3. Stir in cumin, garam masala, coriander, and paprika.
  4. Add tomato purée, salt, and pepper, and simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  5. Stir in cream or coconut milk and let it cook for another 2 minutes.
Step 4: Combine & Serve
  1. Add the air-fried chicken to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with rice or naan.
