Step 1: Marinate the Chicken
- In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and spices.
- Add chicken chunks and coat well.
- Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for best flavor).
Step 2: Air Fry the Chicken
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly grease the basket and arrange the chicken in a single layer.
- Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Masala Sauce
- In a pan, heat butter or ghee over medium heat.
- Sauté the onion until soft, then add ginger-garlic paste.
- Stir in cumin, garam masala, coriander, and paprika.
- Add tomato purée, salt, and pepper, and simmer for 5–7 minutes.
- Stir in cream or coconut milk and let it cook for another 2 minutes.
Step 4: Combine & Serve
- Add the air-fried chicken to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with rice or naan.
