  • 20 slices of pepperoni
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or cheddar for variation)

 

Instructions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer:
    Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3 minutes to ensure even cooking.
  • Prepare the Pepperoni:
    Place the pepperoni slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are spaced slightly apart to avoid overlapping for even crisping.
  • Add the Cheese:
    Sprinkle a small amount of shredded cheese on top of each pepperoni slice. Be mindful not to overload them—just enough to create a cheesy crust without making them soggy.
  • Air Fry the Crisps:
    • Air fry at 200°C (400°F) for 5–7 minutes.
    • Check at the 5-minute mark; the pepperoni should be crispy, and the cheese melted and slightly browned.
  • Cool and Serve:
    Carefully remove the crisps from the air fryer basket and let them cool on a plate for 2–3 minutes. They will harden as they cool, giving you that satisfying crunch.
