- Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Set your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) and preheat for a few minutes.
- Prepare the Cake Batter:
- In a mixing bowl, prepare the cake mix according to package instructions. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Prepare the Filling:
- In a separate medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Assemble the Cake:
- Grease a suitable air fryer-safe baking dish that fits in your air fryer basket.
- Pour the cake batter into the prepared dish.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter.
- Sprinkle the coconut flakes and white chocolate chips evenly on top.
- Air Fry the Cake:
- Place the baking dish in the air fryer basket.
- Cook at 320°F (160°C) for 30-35 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick inserted into the center. If the toothpick comes out clean or with a few crumbs, the cake is done. Note: Cooking times may vary based on your air fryer model, so keep an eye on the cake to prevent overcooking.
- Cool and Serve:
- Allow the cake to cool in the dish before serving. The top will have a beautiful cracked, earthquake effect with delicious pockets of cream cheese and strawberry.
