If you don’t have a slow cooker, put everything in a large covered casserole pan or ovenproof dish and cook at 190˚C/fan 170˚C/gas 5 for 1-1½ hours, topping up the stock if necessary. This recipe serves 8, if youʼre serving 4 just halve the ingredients or freeze half for another day.
