Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until a dough begins to form.
- If desired, add the olive oil and mix it in. If the dough is too sticky, gradually add a little water or flour to achieve a smooth consistency.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 2-3 minutes until it becomes soft and elastic.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for about 10 minutes to allow it to relax.
- After resting, divide the dough into 6 equal pieces and shape each into a ball.
- Roll out each dough ball into a flat, round shape, about ¼ inch thick, dusting with flour as needed to prevent sticking.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat (you can also use a grill). Place one flatbread in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and puffed up. Repeat with the remaining dough.
- Optionally, brush warm flatbreads with olive oil and sprinkle with fresh herbs for added flavor.
Chef’s Tips

- You can customize these flatbreads by adding spices or herbs to the dough for extra flavor.
- Keep the cooked flatbreads warm in a clean kitchen towel while you finish cooking the rest.
