- Gently fold in the diced apples and melted butter into the batter.
- Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups, filling each about three-quarters full.
- Sprinkle a mixture of cinnamon and sugar on top of each muffin for added flavor.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
