Cheesesteak Tortellini in Rich Provolone Sauce

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Tortellini
  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Sear the Steak
  1. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season steak with salt and pepper, then sear until just cooked through (about 2–3 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
Step 3: Cook Vegetables
  1. In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil.
  2. Sauté onion and green bell pepper until softened (about 5 minutes).
  3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Step 4: Make the Provolone Sauce
  1. Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and heavy cream. Stir and let simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  2. Gradually add shredded provolone cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
Step 5: Combine & Serve
  1. Slice the cooked steak into bite-sized strips.
  2. Add steak and tortellini into the skillet, tossing to coat in sauce.
  3. Cook for 2–3 minutes until heated through.
  4. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
