Step 1: Marinate the Chicken
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken cubes and toss to coat. Cover and marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
Step 2: Assemble Skewers
- Thread marinated chicken, bell peppers, and onion onto skewers, alternating pieces.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 minutes before threading to prevent burning.
Step 3: Air Fry
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F).
- Place skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 12–15 minutes, turning halfway through, until chicken is cooked through (internal temp 75°C/165°F).
Step 4: Serve
- Remove skewers from the air fryer and let rest for 2 minutes.
- Serve hot with rice, salad, or dipping sauces like tzatziki or garlic yogurt.
