Air Fryer Chicken Skewers

Step 1: Marinate the Chicken
  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken cubes and toss to coat. Cover and marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
Step 2: Assemble Skewers
  1. Thread marinated chicken, bell peppers, and onion onto skewers, alternating pieces.
  2. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 minutes before threading to prevent burning.
Step 3: Air Fry
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F).
  2. Place skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  3. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, turning halfway through, until chicken is cooked through (internal temp 75°C/165°F).
Step 4: Serve
  1. Remove skewers from the air fryer and let rest for 2 minutes.
  2. Serve hot with rice, salad, or dipping sauces like tzatziki or garlic yogurt.
