Step 1: Cook the Beef
- In a large pot or deep skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add minced garlic and onion powder, and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Step 2: Build the Sauce
- Stir in the ketchup, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add the beef broth and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
Step 3: Cook the Pasta
- Add the dry macaroni to the pot. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for about 10–12 minutes or until pasta is tender.
Step 4: Serve
- Top with shredded cheese if desired and serve hot.
