Instructions
Step 1: Marinate the Chicken
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken breasts, coat well, and marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the fridge).
Step 2: Coat with Breadcrumbs
- Remove chicken from marinade and press each piece into breadcrumbs, coating evenly on all sides.
Step 3: Air Fry
- Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F) for 3 minutes.
- Place breaded chicken breasts in the basket in a single layer (cook in batches if needed).
- Air fry for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through (internal temp 165°F/74°C).
Step 4: Serve
- Let rest 5 minutes, then slice and serve with your favorite sides.
