Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Tofu
- Press the tofu for 10–15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut into cubes.
- Toss tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
Step 2: Air Fry the Tofu
- Preheat air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3 minutes.
- Place tofu cubes in the basket in a single layer, lightly spray or brush with oil.
- Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden and crispy.
Step 3: Make the Sticky Sauce
- While tofu is cooking, heat soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and water in a pan over medium heat.
- Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Step 4: Combine
- Add crispy tofu to the sauce and stir to coat evenly.
- Simmer for 1–2 minutes more if needed until glazed.
