Step 1: Prepare the Crust
- Combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9×9-inch dish. Chill for 10 minutes.
Step 2: Make the Cheesecake Layer
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in whipped topping until fully incorporated.
- Spread over the chilled crust.
Step 3: Add Cherries
- Spread cherry pie filling evenly over the cheesecake layer.
- Add more whipped topping if desired.
Step 4: Chill and Serve
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
- Garnish with crushed graham cracker crumbs and fresh cherries before serving.
