Instructions
Step 1: Make the Meatballs
- In a large bowl, mix ground meat with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and BBQ sauce.
- Take about 2 tablespoons of meat mixture, flatten slightly, and place a cube of cheddar in the center.
- Wrap the meat around the cheese and roll into a ball. Repeat with remaining mixture.
Step 2: Wrap with Turkey Bacon
- Wrap each meatball with a half-slice of turkey bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
Step 3: Air Fry
- Preheat air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
- Place bombs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with olive oil for crispiness.
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bacon is crisp and internal temp is 74°C (165°F).
Step 4: Glaze & Serve
- Brush with extra BBQ sauce in the last 2 minutes of cooking or just after removing.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Serve with toothpicks or as a main dish with sides.
