Healthy Chinese Ground Beef & Cabbage Stir Fry

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Beef
  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain any excess fat.
Step 2: Add Aromatics
  1. Add diced onion, garlic, and ginger to the pan. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
Step 3: Stir Fry Cabbage
  1. Add shredded cabbage and stir well. Cook for about 5–7 minutes until it starts to soften.
  2. Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin or oyster sauce, and red pepper flakes. Stir to coat evenly.
  3. Continue cooking until cabbage is tender but still slightly crisp.
Step 4: Serve
  1. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds and serve hot.
