Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Beef
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain any excess fat.
Step 2: Add Aromatics
- Add diced onion, garlic, and ginger to the pan. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
Step 3: Stir Fry Cabbage
- Add shredded cabbage and stir well. Cook for about 5–7 minutes until it starts to soften.
- Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin or oyster sauce, and red pepper flakes. Stir to coat evenly.
- Continue cooking until cabbage is tender but still slightly crisp.
Step 4: Serve
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds and serve hot.
