Step 1: Make the Dough
  1. In a large bowl, combine self-rising flour and cold heavy cream. Stir just until a dough forms—do not overmix.
  2. Turn dough out onto a floured surface and gently pat to about 1-inch thickness. Cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter or glass.
Step 2: Air Fry
  1. Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Place biscuits in a parchment-lined air fryer basket or tray, leaving space between each.
  3. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Brush with melted butter after baking, if desired.
