Instructions
Step 1: Prep the Vegetables
- In a pan, heat a little sunflower oil and sauté chopped onion, grated carrot, and bacon (if using) until softened.
- Add shredded cabbage and cook until lightly wilted. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside to cool slightly.
Step 2: Assemble the Mix
- In a large bowl, combine grated potatoes, cooked cabbage mixture, spring onions, and shredded cheese. Mix well.
- Grease a baking dish or cake pan that fits your air fryer basket and pour in the mixture, pressing it down gently.
Step 3: Air Fry
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F).
- Place the dish in the air fryer and cook for 25–30 minutes or until the top is golden and crispy and the center is cooked through.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
