Step 1: Make the Dough
- Cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and salt.
- Gradually add in the flour, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
- Chill the dough for 15–20 minutes if it’s too soft to handle.
Step 2: Shape & Air Fry
- Preheat your air fryer to 160°C (320°F).
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls or pipe into shapes. Flatten slightly if desired.
- Place cookies in a parchment-lined air fryer basket, leaving space between each.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden on the edges.
- Cool completely before serving. They firm up as they cool.
