Air Fryer Classic Butter Cookies

Instructions

Step 1: Make the Dough
  1. Cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix in the vanilla extract and salt.
  3. Gradually add in the flour, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
  4. Chill the dough for 15–20 minutes if it’s too soft to handle.
Step 2: Shape & Air Fry
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 160°C (320°F).
  2. Roll dough into 1-inch balls or pipe into shapes. Flatten slightly if desired.
  3. Place cookies in a parchment-lined air fryer basket, leaving space between each.
  4. Air fry for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden on the edges.
  5. Cool completely before serving. They firm up as they cool.
