Step 1: Make the Cake Batter

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter. Mix until just combined. Pour batter into the prepared dish.

  1. In a medium bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and softened butter until a thick paste forms.
  2. Drop spoonfuls over the batter, then swirl gently with a knife.
Step 3: Bake and Glaze
  1. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. While warm, whisk glaze ingredients together and drizzle over the cake. Let set before serving.
