Instructions
Step 1: Make the Cake Batter
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter. Mix until just combined. Pour batter into the prepared dish.
Step 2: Add Cinnamon Swirl
- In a medium bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and softened butter until a thick paste forms.
- Drop spoonfuls over the batter, then swirl gently with a knife.
Step 3: Bake and Glaze
- Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While warm, whisk glaze ingredients together and drizzle over the cake. Let set before serving.
