Penne Pasta with Creamy Chicken, Mushrooms, and Asparagus

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta
  1. Boil penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Sauté the Chicken and Vegetables
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms until softened. Add asparagus and cook for 3–4 minutes.
Step 3: Make the Cream Sauce
  1. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens slightly.
Step 4: Combine
  1. Return cooked chicken and penne to the skillet. Toss everything to coat in the sauce.
  2. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.
