Step 1: Prepare the Filling
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold in diced strawberries.
Step 2: Assemble the Wontons
- Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Brush the edges with beaten egg and fold into a triangle, pressing firmly to seal.
Step 3: Fry the Wontons
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 175°C (350°F).
- Fry wontons in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
Step 4: Serve & Enjoy
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
- Enjoy as is or with a drizzle of chocolate or caramel sauce!
