Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Tortellini
- Boil tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Sauté the Steak and Vegetables
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced steak and cook for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onions, bell peppers, and garlic. Sauté until soft, about 3–4 minutes.
Step 3: Prepare the Provolone Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt butter and stir in flour. Cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in heavy cream and beef broth, stirring until smooth.
- Add shredded provolone cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir until melted and creamy.
Step 4: Combine & Serve
- Return the cooked steak and tortellini to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
