Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Air Fryer
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
Step 2: Cook the Sausages
- Lightly grease an air fryer-safe baking dish with vegetable oil.
- Place the sausages inside the dish and air fry for 6–8 minutes, turning halfway, until lightly browned.
Step 3: Prepare the Batter
- While the sausages cook, whisk together flour, milk, egg, salt, and pepper until smooth and lump-free.
Step 4: Add the Batter & Cook
- Once the sausages are partially cooked, carefully pour the batter over them in the dish.
- Reduce the air fryer temperature to 375°F (190°C) and cook for 12–15 minutes, until the batter is puffed up and golden brown.
Step 5: Serve & Enjoy
- Let it sit for 2 minutes, then slice and serve with gravy, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
