  • Prepare the Chicken:

    • Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
    • Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 18-22 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Make the Gravy:
    • While the chicken is cooking, mix the cream of chicken soup, water, and chicken gravy packets in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until well combined and heated through.
  • Shred the Chicken:
    • Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, use two forks to shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  • Combine Chicken and Gravy:
    • Stir the shredded chicken into the prepared gravy mixture until fully coated.
  • Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:
    • If using instant mashed potatoes, prepare according to the package instructions, adding butter and any additional seasonings as desired.
  • Serve:
