Instructions

  • Prepare the Dough:
    • On a lightly floured surface, divide the pizza dough in half. Roll out each half into 4 slices (you should have 8 slices total).
  • Assemble the Classic Pizza Pockets:
    • Spread half of each dough slice with pizza sauce.
    • Add mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and black olives.
    • Fold the dough over to cover the toppings and press the edges with a fork or your fingers to seal. Make a few small cuts on top to allow steam to escape.
  • Assemble the Broccoli & Cheddar Pizza Pockets:
    • Brush the dough slices with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
    • In a bowl, mix the chopped broccoli with the cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
    • Spread the broccoli mixture over half of each dough slice, then fold and seal as with the classic version. Make a few small cuts on top.
  • Air Fry the Pizza Pockets:
    • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
    • Lightly grease the air fryer basket or line it with parchment paper.
    • Place the pizza pockets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
    • Air fry for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and cooked through. Flip halfway through cooking to ensure even browning.
  • Cool and Serve:
    • Remove the pizza pockets from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.
