Air Fryer Homemade Beefaroni

  • Cook the Macaroni:
    • Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Prepare the Beef Mixture:
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
    • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is soft and translucent.
    • Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  • Combine and Assemble:
    • Add the cooked elbow macaroni to the skillet with the beef and tomato mixture. Stir until everything is well combined.
    • Transfer the beefaroni to an air fryer-safe baking dish or several smaller dishes that fit into your air fryer.
    • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
  • Air Fry the Beefaroni:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
    • Place the dish in the air fryer and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Check halfway through cooking to ensure even browning.
  • Serve:
    • Carefully remove the dish from the air fryer and let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
