Instructions

  • Marinate the Chicken (Time: 10 minutes):
    • In a large bowl, combine the pineapple juice, brown sugar, and soy sauce.
    • Add the chicken tenderloin chunks to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated.
    • Let the chicken marinate for at least 10 minutes. For best results, marinate for 1-2 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer (Time: 3 minutes):
    • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  • Cook the Chicken (Time: 20 minutes):
    • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush with a bit of oil to prevent sticking.
    • Place the marinated chicken chunks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook in batches.
    • Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, turning the chicken halfway through to ensure even cooking. The chicken should be golden brown and cooked through with an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Serve:
    • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes.
    • Serve the Sweet Hawaiian Chicken over rice or with your favorite side dishes.
