- Pat dry shrimp with paper towels. In a large bowl add the shrimp, sausage, spritz with oil a couple times, add the BBQ seasoning and toss to combine.
- Tuck the sausages slices in the curve of the shrimp and thread them on skewers.
- Place the sausage and shrimp skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook to 350ºF for 4 minutes on each side or until the shrimp are cooked through. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
NOTES
- Use any kind of sausage that you have or like the most that are precooked; otherwise, you may have to cook the sausage first if using raw.
- If using frozen shrimp, make sure they thaw before starting the recipe. You can thaw them in the refrigerator overnight or place them in the sink with cold water, changing the water every 30 minutes. This recipe works with raw shrimp, don’t use it with previously cooked shrimp.
- For the BBQ seasoning, I used Trader Joe’s 101 BBQ seasoning. Feel free to use your favorite.
