- 600g of Flank Steak, visible fat trimmed
- 1 tbs of cornstarch (or arrowroot or tapioca)
- 4 tbs of soy sauce
- ¾ cup (180ml) of water
- 150g of fresh pear, peeled
- 2 tbs of maple syrup
- 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 2 tsp of freshly grated ginger
- 4 spring onions, sliced
- optional: pinch of chilli flakes
