  • 2 extra lean beef medallion steaks approx 170g per steak
  • 300 g ready rolled shortcrust pastry
  • 300 g mushrooms very finely diced
  • 2 shallots or 1 small onion very finely diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic peeled and minced
  • 1 sprig of fresh thyme leaves only (or 1/2 tsp of dried thyme)
  • 1/4 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 small egg beaten
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • low calorie cooking spray
